SCANSONIC HD Luidsprekers
Het Deense Scansonic HD biedt elegante, passieve luidsprekers. Van mini-monitors en compacte modellen op statief tot slanke vloerstaanders. 21 modellen vanaf 450€ tot 15.000€ per paar. Scansonic HD speakers worden ontworpen vanuit de expertise van hun zustermerk Raidho met luidsprekers tot 235.000€/paar.
Scansonic HD heeft een doordachte productlijn rond verschillende luidsprekertechnologieën. Elke technologie heeft zijn eigen prijs en klankkarakter.
MB-serie
Hoge performantie en prachtig design
De elegante MB-serie is uitgerust met ultralichte band-tweeters (<1gr!) en 13,5 cm woofers met carbon conus. Deze conus wordt uit 1 stuk vervaardigd en speciaal voor deze behuizing ontwikkeld. De zeer lichte wooferconus is speciaal ontwikkeld om aan te sluiten bij het heel dynamische karakter van de bandtweeter. Dit geeft de MB-luidsprekers een erg dynamisch geluid geeft dat enorm veel details onthult met ultrasnelle transiënten.
De typerende paraboolvorm van de MB-serie is prachtig en elimineert interne reflecties en staande golven. De behuizing wordt met carbon versterkt en is gemaakt uit 1 stuk MDF met hoge densiteit. Het cross-over filter werd ontworpen voor optimale fase en timing en gebruikt componenten van hoge kwaliteit. Elke luidspreker wordt in Denemarken gebouwd door 1 vakman. Geen enkele MB-luidspreker verlaat de fabriek zonder te zijn doorgemeten tov. de referentie.
Met de MB-serie ontwierp Scansonic HD niet alleen luidsprekers met een groot en precies geluidsbeeld, maar ook een timing die je voet laat meebewegen op het ritme van de muziek. En zo vooral een lach op je gezicht toveren!
Scansonic's vakmanschap
Ultrasnelle transiënten en minder geluidskleuring
Vergelijkbaar met RAIDHO ribbon tweeters, heeft de MB ribbon tweeter een membraan met een extreem lage massa. Het wordt gevormd door een Kapton-aluminium sandwich die slechts 20 um dik is. De resulterende massa van ca. 0,03 gram is ongeveer 50 keer lichter dan elke conventionele textiel-, keramische, beryllium- of diamantkoepel. Kapton geeft het aluminium een ruggengraat die 'ringing' en thermische degradatie voorkomt, terwijl de lage massa behouden blijft.
De lagere massa vertaalt zich direct in een hogere resolutie met snellere transiënten en minder geluidskleuring. Dit is vergelijkbaar met het verschil in resolutie tussen hi-res audio en CD.
Carbon conussen voor stijfheid en lage compressie
Voor de mid/woofers van de MB-serie, ontwikkelde Scansonic HD een duurzaam geweven carbonmembraan zonder stofkap. Door de vorm en stijfheid zorgvuldig te optimaliseren, zijn ze erin geslaagd een zeer goed presterende woofer te maken die prachtig samengaat met de hoge resolutie van de ribbon tweeter.
Door een overhangend magneetsysteem (magneet langer dan spreekspoel) beweegt de spreekspoel volledig binnen het magnetische veld voor een lange lineaire slag en uitstekende basprestaties. Hun 'low loss' spider verbetert de dynamische prestaties en maakt een diepere laagweergave mogelijk. Handig is ook dat dit het inspelen beperkt tot +-100 uur.
Paraboolvormige behuizing
De interne luchtstroming in de behuizing werd geoptimaliseerd. Openingen in de behuizing werden getuned voor optimale impulsrespons. Gecombineerd met een minimaal gebruik van dempingsmateriaal, creëert dit een heel dynamische, lineaire en gedetailleerde weergave van lage tonen.
Crossover
De crossovers zijn ontworpen voor een heel lineair en natuurlijk geluid over de ganse lijn. Ze aligneren alle drivers in de tijd op luisterafstand.
MB1 B (2.500€/paar)
De MB1 B is een tweewegmonitor die op een statief kan worden gemonteerd. Het belangrijkste doel was om een kleine luidspreker te maken die doet wat hij echt goed doet. De reflexpoort maakt gebruik van speciale ontwerp dat het geluid van de basreflexpoort tot een extreem laag niveau weet te reduceren. De reflexpoort is aan de voorkant geplaatst zodat de MB1 B ook dicht bij de achterwand kan wordt gebruikt.
